The States of the R4 Group, comprising the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Türkiye, strongly condemn the continued hostile attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly the heinous strikes targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
These attacks, which have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries, as well as damage to civilian infrastructure and facilities, constitute a grave violation of international law and a serious threat to regional security and stability.
Abdel-Ghaffar: Bid to localise dialysis supplies manufacturing
Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships with leading international healthcare companies to improve the quality and efficiency of renal care services, promote technology transfer and advance the localisation of medical supplies manufacturing in Egypt.
The minister made these remarks during a meeting with the Executive Vice President and Head of International Commercial Operations at Fresenius Medical Care, Thomas Swinnen, and his accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of the World Health Summit in Berlin.
Badawi: Cairo committed to energy security
Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, represented Egypt at the 17th Ministerial Meeting of the International Energy Forum (IEF) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, held under the theme “Energy Security and Shared Goals in a New Era”.
