CAIRO – The Cabinet approved on Thursday to allow Egyptian students at Ukrainian universities to join private and national non-profit (Ahleyya) universities under certain conditions.
In a press release, the cabinet media center said this comes within the framework of implementing directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to find helpful solutions to students in Ukraine who are seeking to join Egyptian universities in such exceptional conditions.
Emigration Minister Nabila Makram said over 2,000 students in Ukraine registered for joining Egyptian universities.
Coordination is underway with Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar in this regard, she said.
