Egypt on Friday condemned a terrorist attack targeting a mosque in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province that left several people dead and injured, the Foreign Ministry said.
Egypt reaffirmed its firm rejection of attacks on places of worship and its complete opposition to all forms of terrorism, extremism, and violence.
It expressed full solidarity with Pakistan in confronting such terrorist acts and support for efforts by the Pakistani government to preserve the country’s security and stability.
Egypt also offered its sincere condolences to the Pakistani government and people and to the victims’ families.
