Joint Egypt, Greece military drill ‘Medusa-15’ kicks off
The joint Egyptian-Greek military exercise codenamed “Medusa-15” began in Greece on Tuesday.
The several-day exercise, which will run for several days across the Mediterranean and a number of Greek air bases, involves elements of the Egyptian, Greek, Cypriot, French and Italian naval and air forces, air defence and reconnaissance units, as well as special forces, including paratroopers and commando units.
Egypt, WFP to expand co-operation on food security, subsidies
Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Sherif Farouk met with World Food Programme (WFP) Acting Executive Director Carl Skau on Tuesday to discuss means to expand co-operation on food subsidies and food security.
