CAIRO – Egypt’s Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad launched Saturday a monthly competition on the Environment Ministry’s website in cooperation with pharmaceutical company of Sanofi Egypt.
Themed “our health reflection of our planet health,” the competition came as part of a MoU, signed between the ministry and Sanofi Egypt, aimed at taking part in programs and the presidential initiative “Go Green”, all aimed at raising environmental awareness among people.
The competition comes in an important timing, as Egypt is getting ready for for hosting COP27, Fouad said, adding it has a message that all Egyptians are united behind one goal of environment protection.
It includes a set of questions on means of environment protection, and diseases resulting from air pollution, she added.
