Suez hosts foundation stone for Sungrow energy storage plant

As part of Egypt’s drive to localise renewable energy industries, SCZone Chairman Mostafa Shekhoun attended the foundation‑stone ceremony for Sungrow’s $50 million energy storage assembly plant in Ain Sokhna. The project, the first of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, will create over 100 jobs and focus on training local cadres and transferring advanced technology.
