Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gomblat held an expanded meeting on Saturday with the chairmen of the ministry’s affiliated companies to review production operations and the implementation of development plans aimed at improving performance and efficiency.
During the meeting, Gomblat was briefed on production rates and progress under contracts concluded between military production companies and their partner entities. The chairmen of the affiliated companies also presented updates on the implementation of their production plans and targets for the coming period.
The minister stressed the importance of adhering to the highest quality standards throughout all stages of manufacturing and meeting established timelines for contract execution. He also called for intensified efforts and closer coordination among affiliated companies to maximise the use of available production capabilities and resources, enhance the competitiveness of military production products, and meet the needs of the domestic market.
Gomblat underscored the need to continue implementing presidential directives aimed at deepening local manufacturing and expanding partnerships with the private sector to support industrial localisation and maximise the use of national capabilities.
He further emphasised the importance of sustaining development programmes, improving operational efficiency and strengthening integration among affiliated companies to ensure the optimal use of resources, increase production rates and enhance competitiveness.
