Chairman of the Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences (EGAEC), Alaa El‑Beili, participated in the opening of the 13th edition of IDEX Egypt 2026.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Turkish ambassador to Egypt, alongside representatives from government bodies, academic institutions and the business community.
El‑Beili conveyed the greetings of Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Mohamed Farid to the participants, emphasising that Egypt’s hosting of the specialised international event reflects its strong potential to serve as a regional hub for exhibitions, conferences and specialised global gatherings.
He noted that IDEX Egypt 2026 provides a vital platform for companies, institutions, experts and professionals from the dental sector.
El‑Beili highlighted the importance of specialised international exhibitions and events as key instruments for strengthening economic and trade co‑operation, connecting Egyptian businesses with international counterparts and opening new channels of communication between companies and institutions.
He added that the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, through its affiliated entities, particularly EGAEC, is committed to supporting and hosting specialised international events that promote investment and trade opportunities while strengthening links between Egyptian companies and global markets.
Hosting international exhibitions and conferences also reinforces Egypt’s position as a regional hub for economic and trade events, El‑Beili said. Such events provide valuable opportunities to showcase Egypt’s capabilities across various sectors, attract new partnerships and investment, and support efforts to transfer and localise technology and exchange expertise.
He stressed that the exhibition serves as a specialised platform for promoting investment and trade partnerships in the dental sector and for showcasing the latest technologies, solutions and products.
