Egypt has voiced its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Republic of Niger, government and people, following a bus collision that left dozens of people killed or injured.
In a Foreign Ministry statement, Egypt extended its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
It also affirmed its full solidarity with Niger following the tragic incident.Two buses were reportedly collided leaving, at least, 21 people dead and dozens injured.
Emergency services responded to the scene and transported the injured to medical facilities for treatment.
Initial reports indicated that 37 people were injured in the crash, while authorities continued to assess the circumstances surrounding the accident.
