Hometown Developments Company launched ‘The Village’ project – the first commercial building dedicated to restaurants and cafes in the Downtown area – in the New Administrative Capital, said Dia El Din Farag, Board Chairman.
Located directly in front of Al Masa Hotel, the “The Village” project comprises the largest cinema complex with a total of 10 halls with international designs and state-of-the-art specifications accommodating nearly 1,000 people. The complex design is under the supervision of the Italian designer Claudio Violante, one of the most famous cinema designers worldwide, Farag also said.
He added that the project includes a hypermarket on an area of 2,250 meters and a fully panoramic facade viewing 25,000 square meters of green areas, pointing out that the project is being implemented by DMA Engineering Consulting, and scheduled to be run after completion by Hassan Allam Properties.
Mohammed Al-Shami, Vice Chairman of the Company, added that the unique location the “The Village” occupies in the Downtown area of the New Capital guarantees for the unit buyers an excellent return on investment, as well as ensures the speed of operation.
Ahmed Zayed, director of the commercial sector of the company, explained that the project includes areas starting from 30 square meters with a 5% down payment and a payment period of up to 10 years – distinct payment systems that suit the purchasing capacity of target customers.
“The company provides payment periods and systems that have been developed based on market studies that maintain the financial solvency of the company and at the same time meet the client’s financial plan,” Zayed said.
He added that the company owns the “Lafayette Village Mall New Capital”, the largest commercial and entertainment resort in the Downtown region with an area of 43,000 square meters. It is also implementing the Zaha Park New Capital project on an area of 7,200 square meters in the MU23 malls area – between R2 and R3. The Park is 10 floors high.
