Egypt’s U18 women’s handball team earned a major 29-24 victory over France in the group stage of the 2026 IHF Women’s Youth World Championship in Romania.
The tournament runs through August 9.
Egypt dominated the game from the start, taking a 14-11 lead at halftime and holding on for a strong five-goal win against the European powerhouses.
Following an earlier win against Croatia, this second victory keeps Egypt undefeated at the top of their group and secures their place in the next round of the tournament.
