Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati received a phone call on Monday from Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, as part of ongoing consultations between the two countries on regional developments and efforts to bolster security and stability.
The two ministers exchanged views on the latest regional dynamics, with particular focus on the trajectory of U.S.–Iran negotiations. Both underscored the critical importance of sustaining the diplomatic track between Washington and Tehran to reach consensus-based understandings that support de-escalation and reinforce regional stability. They emphasized that political and diplomatic solutions remain the only viable path to addressing the current crisis and preventing the expansion of conflict and its repercussions across the region.
Abdel-Aati and Dar reaffirmed their commitment to continued coordination and joint consultations in the coming period, aiming to help foster an agreement between the United States and Iran that takes into account the concerns of all parties, ends the war, and strengthens security and stability in the Middle East.
