President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call on Monday from Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq.
The Omani leader congratulated Sisi on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, wishing Egypt and its people continued security and stability, Presidency Spokesman Mohamed El-Shenawy.
Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tari also expressed hopes for prosperity and blessings for the Arab and Islamic nations.
President Sisi thanked the Omani Sultan for the greetings and wished Oman and its people further progress and prosperity, while expressing hopes for stability across the region.
The two leaders stressed the importance of the solid ties between Egypt and Oman.
They reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in various fields in support of the interests of both countries and Arab solidarity.
