The Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) Chairman, Mokhtar Abdel-Latif, and Chairman of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt (CCIFE), Emad el-Sonbati have discussed means of boosting co-operation across the various industrial sector.
The discussions held on Sunday addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, including their manufacturing capabilities, promising investment opportunities across various industrial sectors, and the exchange of expertise. They also underscored the AOI’s vision to localise technology in line with the latest standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, alongside the continuous technological modernisation of manufacturing mechanisms in support of the goals of the New Republic.
Abdel-Latif reaffirmed the AOI’s strategic vision aimed at localising advanced technologies in line with the latest standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
In addition, the talks underscored the organisation’s commitment to continuous technological modernisation of manufacturing mechanisms in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
The discussions further explored prospects for establishing strategic partnerships by leveraging the AOI’s advanced manufacturing capabilities alongside France’s extensive expertise in diverse industrial fields, including electronics, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, electric vehicle manufacturing, transportation, renewable energy, infrastructure, and other advanced industries.
For his part, el-Sonbati stressed that the Egyptian market represents an attractive destination for French investments.
He also affirmed CCIFE’s interest in expanding co-operation and building partnerships in several technological fields during the coming period.
