Consolidating bilateral ties, and enhancing co-operation were at the core of several, separate meetings which Egypt’s Minster of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdel-Aati held in Nairobi, Kenya, on the sidelines of the Africa-France Summit.
Minister Abdel-Aati held talks on Monday with counterparts from Sierra Leone, Alhaji Musa Kaba, Liberia, Sara Beysolow Nyanti,Nigeria Bianca Ojukwu, and Namibia’s Minister of International Relations and Trade, Selma Ashipala-Musavyi.

The Egyptian chief diplomat also met Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi, France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, and Seychelles’ Foreign Minister, Barry Faure.
The meetings probed opportunities to enhance political, economic, and development co-operation, as well as exchanging views on African issues of mutual interest, foremost of which support for peace, security, and stability across the continent, boosting economic integration, and coordinating positions on various issues on the African and international agenda.
