Following his speech marking Labour Day celebrations, held at the headquarters of the Egyptian National Railway Industries Company (NERIC) in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, east of Port Said, President Sisi paid an inspection tour of the facility, during which he reviewed a metro car assembled at the NERC factory.
He also examined the various stages of production and final completion, said the Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed el-Shennawy.
He added that Engineer Karim Sami Saad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Port Said Development Company, provided a detailed explanation throughout the visit, outlining the technical and operational aspects of the manufacturing process.
Following the tour, the president took commemorative photographs alongside senior officials, company board, and factory workers, in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the success of the NERC factory.
