Egypt’s PM decides forming council of private universities

CAIRO – Egyptian Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar announced on Friday Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli’s decision no. 691/2022 to form the council of private universities.

The council is being formed every year, headed by the minister.

It includes the membership of the secretary of the council of private universities, the presidents of private universities, the secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, the secretary of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals, the minister’s advisors in private universities, the chairman of the board of trustees of October 6 University, the chairman of the board of trustees of October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, and the chairman of the board of trustees of Misr University for Science and Technology, friendship.

The membership includes Presidential Health Adviser Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for University Affairs, and President of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education Johansen Eid, and President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology Mahmoud Sakr, President of Beni Suef University Mansour Hassan, President of Tanta University Mahmoud Zaki, and President of Benha University Gamal Soussa.
