The Egyptian Military Academy’s Technological Military College (TMC), and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) have signed a co-operation protocol to boost joint efforts in stimulating innovation, promoting the dissemination of technology, and maximising the use of applicable research, studies, innovations, and databases.
The move came in line with the Armed Forces’ commitment to fostering knowledge exchange with state institutions and keeping pace with rapid technological advancements in education and training.
Major General Hussein Mostafa Sharaf, Deputy Director of the Egyptian Military Academy’s TMC and Gina el-Feki, ASRT Acting President co-signed the protocol.
Under the protocol, the two sides will also leverage available scientific capabilities to support students’ graduation projects.
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abdelaziz Konsowa, stressed that the ministry is committed to enhancing human capital and creating a conducive environment for innovation, with the goal of graduating a generation capable of competing across diverse scientific and professional fields in Egypt.
Meanwhile, Major General Mohamed Salah el-Turky, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, underscored that the agreement will reinforce the national research ecosystem to address contemporary challenges and keep abreast of emerging scientific developments. He also highlighted the importance of developing ambitious research projects through constructive and productive collaboration with the ASRT.
The signing was attended by a number of commanders and officers of the Egyptian Military Academy, along with officials from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
