EgyptAir said it will operate on Wednesday two special flights to transport the football teams of Al Ahly and Zamalek to Sudan and Angola respectively for their CAF Champions League clashes.
Al Ahly will head to Khartoum on board a Boeing B737-800 aircraft to face Sudan’s Al-Hilal on Friday as part of Group A encounters, the national flag carrier said in a statement.
Also on Wednesday, Zamalek will fly to Angola on board another Boeing B737-800 plane to take on G.D. Sagrada Esperança on Saturday in the second round of Group D matches.
