Egypt is seeking to further deepen industrial partnerships with global players to advance localisation and technology transfer, as senior officials held talks with an Indian firm to explore new avenues for co-operation.
Minister of State for Military Production Salah Jumblatt affirmed the ministry’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with leading international companies in support of sustainable development goals and the advancement of local manufacturing capabilities.
In this context, the minister received representatives of Parason Advanced Systems to discuss prospects for enhancing co-operation across various manufacturing sectors.
The meeting comes in line with directives from Abdel Fattah El Sisi to open new horizons of co-operation with international partners and promote the localisation of advanced industries, the ministry said in a press statement.
Minister Jumblatt welcomed the visiting delegation, highlighting the strength of Egyptian–Indian relations and the notable progress achieved in recent years, particularly in economic and military co-operation. He stressed that such partnerships support mutual interests and facilitate the transfer and localisation of modern technologies.
Talks also focused on boosting manufacturing capabilities and increasing production capacities within companies and units affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production. The minister reviewed the technological and technical resources available, underlining the importance of acquiring advanced manufacturing technologies to sustain ongoing development and modernisation.
For their part, representatives of Parason Advanced Systems praised Egypt’s industrial capabilities and expressed interest in expanding co-operation with the ministry, emphasising the value of expertise exchange and industrial integration between the two sides.
