KUWAIT CITY – Mohammad Ali Palace, located in Cairo’s Shubra district, is set to be reopened this month after finishing renovation works, Spokesman for the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry Soha Bahgat said.
The spokesperson made her remarks at an event organized by the Egyptian embassy in Kuwait on the “most important tourist destinations in Egypt”.
Bahgat said the palace will be ready to receive Egyptian and foreign visitors from all over the world, noting that the renovation has been fully completed by Egyptians.
She added that a number of important tourist sites will be inaugurated in Egypt soon, including the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The spokesperson urged Kuwaitis to visit different tourist destinations in Egypt.
