Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk hasannounced new incentives in the second package of tax facilities after 40 community dialogue meetings.
The package includes 33 measures designed to ease burdens and reward compliant taxpayers, according to a ministry press release on Sunday.
Low-cost financing will be offered to the first 100,000 taxpayers joining the simplified tax system, Kouchouk said.
The move aims to encourage entrepreneurs and small businesses to expand.
The law on ending tax disputes will be extended until December 31, 2026. A white list and privilege card will give compliant taxpayers priority services and new benefits, the minister said.
VAT refund procedures will be restructured to speed up payments, with immediate refunds for white list members. Last year, VAT refunds reached 7.2 billion pounds, a 151 per centincrease.
Corporate tax changes will remove double taxation on dividends between holding and subsidiary companies. Rules will also be eased for writing off small debts.
New premium tax service centers will open in New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, and New Alamein. For the stock market, capital gains tax on listed securities will be replaced with stamp duty to boost investment. Large companies joining the exchange will receive tax benefits for three years.
Other measures include a digital consultation platform, simplified property tax procedures, reduced VAT on medical devices from 14 per cent to 5 per cent, and reforms to integrate the informal economy. The minister said these steps aim to build trust, expand the tax base, and support investment growth.
