Minister of State for Military Production, Salah Soliman Gomblat, received on Monday, Chairman and CEO of the Egyptian Arab Land Bank (EALB), Medhat Ahmed Qamar,and an accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed prospects for joint co-operation in several areas, according to a ministry press release.
The two sides explored the possibility of benefiting from the banking services offered by the bank, and establishing strategic partnerships and joint projects that serve mutual interests and benefit the ministry-affiliated companies, as well as their employees.
For his part, Chairman Qamar lauded the ministry’s role as a strong national industrial arm in both the military and civilian sectors, highlighting its distinguished manufacturing, technological, technical, and human capabilities.
He also reviewed the bank’s areas of operation and its efforts to lead the financing sector and support both the local and Arab communities.
As the meeting came to an end, the two sides agreed to designate focal points from the ministry and the bank to further define areas of co-operation.
The bank is set to submit proposals for joint collaboration in several areas, including deposits, corporate credit facilities, and individual banking accounts, the release noted.
