Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli praised the efforts exerted by the medical relief committee in dealing with the citizens’ health problems and providing the necessary medical care for them.
The premier stressed the importance of continuing these efforts in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to provide comprehensive and decent health care for citizens.
Madbouli’s remarks came while he was reviewing a report submitted by Medical Adviser to the Cabinet Hossam el-Masry detailing the efforts of the medical relief committee during last January.
El-Masry indicated that the committee’s efforts during last January included the issuance of 146 treatment decisions by the prime minister at the expense of the state for the neediest groups as well as 123 surgeries.
He further said that 12 directives were also issued to conduct bone marrow transplants.
