Giza Governor Adel El-Naggar met with a delegation of Chinese businessmen and investors to discuss boosting co-operation in integrated iron industries at the Arab Abu Sa’ed Industrial Zone in Saf district, as part of the state’s efforts to support industry and attract new investments.During the meeting, El-Naggar stressed that Egypt is prioritising the localisation of industry and increasing local production. He highlighted the government’s commitment to creating an attractive investment climate by easing procedures and offering full support to serious investors.

The governor described the Arab Abu Sa’ed Industrial Zone as a promising area with strong infrastructure and a strategic location, making it suitable for major industrial projects. He affirmed that the state will provide all necessary support, in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and concerned authorities, to speed up procedures and ensure the project’s success, given its role in creating jobs, supporting the local economy, and adding value to national industry. For their part, the Chinese investors expressed strong interest in co-operation, noting Egypt’s recent economic and industrial progress.

They said the project represents the first phase of a broader expansion plan and will be implemented in line with international technological and environmental standards, contributing to sustainable development, meeting local market needs, and boosting exports.
