In a demonstration of social responsibility and national unity, the Southern Military Zone has launched the second phase of the “Boshret Kheir” (Good Omen) campaign.
Partnering with the Tahya Misr Fund and several civil society organizations, the initiative focuses on providing essential support to the most vulnerable families in Luxor Governorate.
The comprehensive programme features a large-scale free medical convoy that has reached 10,000 families, delivering thorough examinations, laboratory tests, radiology scans, and critical surgical operations where needed.
Alongside this, a charitable exhibition distributed 115,000 items, including clothing, household essentials, and children’s toys to bring joy and practicality to daily life.
Special attention was given to citizens with disabilities through the provision of wheelchairs and mobility aids for the visually impaired.
Additionally, 10,000 food supply boxes were handed out to bolster nutritional security during challenging times.
Major General Osama Samir Abdel Latif, commander of the Southern Military Zone, reaffirmed the Armed Forces’ dedication to collaborating with state institutions and civil society to secure a dignified life for all Egyptians.
The true strength of the nation, he said, lies in the unbreakable unity and cohesion of its people.
This campaign continues to spread hope across Upper Egypt, strengthening vital bonds between the military and the communities it proudly serves.
