CAIRO – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reiterated on Sunday his country’s full support of India’s presidency of the BRICS in 2026, hoping of further economic and financial cooperation among member states.The top diplomat made the remarks during his meeting with India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on the sidelines of G-20 meetings in South Africa.The meeting tackled ways of boosting cooperation between the two countries in the trade, economic and investment domains.Abdelatty called on the Indian companies to increase their investments in Egypt and capitalize on available investment privileges, especially within the Suez Canal economic zone.
