CAIRO – The judicial committee overseeing the Al-Ahly Sporting Club election announced that the list led by former football star Mahmoud El-Khatib won the vote, securing full control of the club’s board for the next four years.
Under the new leadership lineup, Khatib will continue as club president, with Yassin Mansour elected as vice president and Khaled Mortagy as treasurer.
Elected to the board’s senior (over-age) membership seats were Tarek Kandil, Mohamed El-Ghazawy, Mohamed El-Damaty, Mohamed El-Garhy, Sayed Abdel Hafiz, Hazem Hilal, and Ahmed Hossam Awad.
In the youth (under-age) category, the winners were Ibrahim El-Amry Farouk and Roweida Hesham.
The election, held at the club’s Cairo headquarters, drew strong turnout from Al-Ahly members amid keen competition and high interest from fans across Egypt.
