PORT SAID – Walid Gamal El-Din, head of Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), said the zone offers promising investment opportunities across 21 industrial and logistics sectors, supported by its strategic vision.
He made the remarks during talks in the SCZONE authority’s premises in the New Administrative Capital with Peru’s Ambassador to Egypt Miguel Luis Martin Aleman Urteaga to explore bilateral cooperation and investment prospects in industrial zones and affiliated seaports.
Gamal El-Din highlighted the integration between ports and industrial zones as key to linking production with global markets, noting SCZONE operates six ports on the Mediterranean and Red Sea. He also voiced interest in expanding ties with Peruvian firms and ports.
