AMMAN – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madboui was accorded an official reception upon his arrival on Tuesday morning at the Jordanian prime ministry headquarters in Amman, where he will co-chair 33rd session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee alongside his Jordanian counterpart Jaafar Hassan.
Madbouli was received by the Jordanian prime minister upon his arrival.
The reception included a formal handshake between members of the two official delegations, followed by playing the national anthems of Egypt and Jordan. Madbouli also reviewed the honor guard.
The Egyptian delegation attending the ceremony included Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el Wazir, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania al Mashat, Electricity and Renewable Energy Minister Mahmoud Essmat, Local Development Minister Manal Awad, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, Labor Minister Mohamed Gobran and other senior officials.
A number of Jordanian ministers also took part in the official reception.
Madbouli arrived in Amman on Monday evening, leading a high-level delegation to attend the 33rd session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Joint Committee.
Madbouly was welcomed at Marka airport by Jordan’s Minister of Industry and Trade Yarub Qudah, Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh, Jordan’s Ambassador to Egypt Amjad Adaileh and Egypt’s Ambassador to Jordan Mohamed Samir.
