Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptians Expatriates Badr Abdelatty and Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif launched “Your School in Egypt” initiative on the sidelines of the 6th edition of Egyptians Abroad Conference, held Sunday in Cairo over two days.
The initiative aims to provide high-quality educational services for children of Egyptians living abroad and to facilitate their study of the Egyptian curriculum using the latest technological methods, with a focus on strengthening their cultural and educational connection to the homeland.
The initiative includes establishment of interactive digital classrooms that allow students abroad to study Egyptian curricula in a structured and effective manner, in full coordination between the ministries of foreign affairs and education and other relevant bodies.
The launch of this initiative comes in response to the demands of Egyptian communities abroad and supports their right to an education that respects their specific circumstance, with a view to providing a learning environment rooted in national identity and culture.
“Your School in Egypt” also represents a qualitative leap in the State’s efforts to integrate technology into education and build educational bridges between Egypt and its citizens abroad.
The two ministers signed a joint cooperation protocol to implement the initiative, covering mechanisms for establishing and operating interactive digital classrooms, providing accredited digital educational content and offering the necessary technical and technological support to ensure the quality of the educational process.
