CAIRO – Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity Margaret Sarofim held talks with Egypt’s Ambassador to Japan Ragy el Etrebi on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the early childhood development file.
The meeting explored ways to build upon the existing partnership between the two nations in this domain.
Sarofim expressed appreciation for the ongoing co-operation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), especially as regards the implementation of Japan’s renowned “Tokkatsu” educational program in Egyptian nurseries.
She said partnership between the ministry and Japan in early childhood development is considered a model in preparing distinguished educational environment and qualified cadres.
Etrebi expressed his happiness over the progress realized in the early childhood development file in Egypt, expressing hope of further cooperation in this regard.
