Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has launched a comprehensive digital marketing campaign aimed at attracting visitors from across the Arab world, under the new slogan “Egypt… Unparalleled Diversity.”
Running through June 2026, the campaign is being rolled out in collaboration with WEGO, the Middle East’s leading online travel marketplace. The initiative seeks to generate more than 500,000 new holiday bookings and attract over one million visitors from Arab countries within the next year.
Timed to align with peak travel seasons and public holidays, the campaign aims to position Egypt as the top destination for Arab travellers by leveraging targeted outreach and strategic media placements.
Ahmed Youssef, Acting CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, said the campaign forms a key part of the country’s broader strategy to expand its digital footprint and engage more effectively with regional audiences.
“Through strategic digital tools and partnerships with specialised travel platforms, we are working to ensure Egypt remains a top destination for Arab audiences,” Youssef said. “Our new campaigns will showcase the country’s endless variety, charm, and the ongoing development that welcomes visitors from all backgrounds”.
Promotional content will be tailored to the preferences of Arab travellers, spotlighting Egypt’s diverse offerings, from luxury beach resorts and water sports to cultural heritage, shopping, entertainment, and emerging destinations such as the modern Mediterranean hub of New Alamein City.
The campaign’s integrated media plan includes high-impact video advertising on YouTube, targeted promotions via Google, bilingual content in Arabic and English, and smart outdoor (OOH) displays in cinemas and shopping centres across the region.
Special advertising pushes are scheduled to coincide with official holidays and festive periods to maximise visibility and engagement.
