CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty asserted that the Arab countries are capable of finishing the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip within 5 years.The agreement reached during the Arab summit in Cairo is practical and applicable, he pointed out.
In an interview with news channel al Arabiya al Hadath, Abdelatty said that Cairo summit presented a solution for the reconstruction of Gaza without forcing its residents to leave.He necessitated finding political horizons that guarantee the implementation of the Arab plan.There should be a suitable environment to allow the implementation of Gaza’s reconstruction plan, he said, adding to implement this plan, the ceasefire should be sustainable.
