Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Sameh El-Hefny, conducted an inspection tour of Luxor International Airport to assess operational readiness and the quality of passenger services. He was received by airport officials and reviewed procedures in both departure and arrival halls, passport and customs counters, baggage claim areas, and the health quarantine section.

The visit focused on ensuring smooth passenger flow amid increased flight activity during the current winter tourist season.

El-Hefny stressed the importance of enhancing service standards at the airport, highlighting Luxor’s global reputation as a key tourist destination and its role in hosting international events.
