Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the 86th batch of students from the Air Traffic Control College, El-Hefny said the profession carries significant responsibility, requiring continuous effort to meet the rapid developments in the aviation industry, especially with the growing reliance on modern navigation technologies.
The event, held at the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s headquarters, was attended by senior officials including Deputy Minister Montaser Manna, Egyptian Aviation Academy President Ezzat Metwally, and Medhat Abdullah, Dean of the Air Traffic Control College.

El-Hefny praised the Egyptian Aviation Academy for preparing young professionals to ensure the safety and smooth flow of air traffic, one of the industry’s most vital areas. “These graduates represent the future of civil aviation,” he said, congratulating them and their families and urging them to embody professionalism and dedication.

Metwally noted the academy’s efforts to keep pace with global aviation developments through updated training Programmes and cutting-edge technology. Meanwhile, Abdullah described the college as a leading institution in the Middle East and Africa, offering specialised Programmes in air traffic control, aviation information, air transport, and communications, aligned with International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards.
