A special ceremony was held at EgyptAir Training Academy to mark the completion of a leadership development programme organised in collaboration with Airbus. Certificates were awarded to 30 trainees from EgyptAir who participated in the programme.

The event was attended by Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, Captain Walid Suleiman, Head of EgyptAir Training Academy, and Reem Oraby, Head of Alliances and International Relations at EgyptAir. Representatives from Airbus included Imad bin Abdullah, Global Accounts Manager for Airbus Middle East and Africa, Adam McGonigal, CEO, Alice Kontos, Head of External Business, and Peter Chadwick, Leadership and Project Management Advisor.

Zakaria expressed his gratitude to Airbus for offering the programme, describing it as a valuable opportunity to enhance leadership and management skills. He praised the expertise shared by Airbus instructors and emphasised the importance of such initiatives in developing human capital within the aviation sector.
Imad bin Abdullah highlighted the strategic importance of investing in human resources, calling the programme a vital step toward preparing future leaders in aviation. He commended the fruitful collaboration between Airbus and EgyptAir Training Academy, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing leadership capabilities.

The programme featured a variety of workshops and training activities designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
This partnership aligns with the broader goals of EgyptAir and Airbus to strengthen national talent and foster the development of the aviation industry in the region.
