AMMAN – Palestinian Minister of al Quds Affairs Ashraf al-Awar lauded Egypt’s honorable stance towards the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinians to establish an independent state, asserting that the Egyptian stance on the Palestinian issue “historic” and “supportive”.
In an interview with MENA Wednesday, during his recent visit to Jordan Awar said, Egypt embraces all Palestinians since the start of the Israeli occupation and always supports the Palestinians to restore their rights.
He referred to Israeli occupation attempts to change the historic and religious identity of al Quds while the world is busy with the war on the Gaza Strip.
He urged the international community, especially the Arab and Islamic world to support al Quds residents to face up to the Israeli measures.
