Housing, Public Utilities and New Urban Communities Minister Sherif el Sherbini said that 203 residential buildings with a total of 4,872 residential units are being built for medium-income families as part of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in Zahraa district at 15th of May city, a suburb of eastern Helwan, Greater Cairo.
This came during Sherbini’s follow up of the progress in the implementation of a number of projects carried out in 15th of May city including residential projects and activities to revamp public utilities and services in the area.
Sherbini asserted the necessity to intensify all work in the projects implemented as part of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” to hand over the units at the due dates.
The presidential initiative reflects the vision of the state to provide adequate and affordable housing to citizens, he said, adding that this contributes to boosting social stability and reflects the commitment of the state to achieving sustainable development.
