CAIRO – The Ministry of Transport denied what was published on social media regarding the Egyptian government allowing a German ship to dock at Alexandria port.
The ministry confirmed in a statement that such news is completely false, explaining that the ship “KATHRIN”, of Portuguese nationality and flying the German flag, was allowed to dock at Alexandria port to unload a shipment for the Ministry of Military Production, and that the ship submitted an official request to be allowed to leave the port towards the port of Haydarpaşa in Turkey to complete its route.
The ministry called on everyone to verify the accuracy and credibility of the news published regarding the Ministry of Transport and to obtain information from its official sources.
