CAIRO – Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi has hailed the effective role of youth during the 12th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF12) which will be hosted by Cairo on Nov. 4-8, in finding new solutions to problems facing world cities as a result of climate change.
In statements to MENA on Friday on the sidelines of the Cairo cycling marathon organized by Cairo governorate, as part of WUF12 activities, he said the Egyptian state is interested in empowering youth as part of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s priorities.
He said his ministry implemented a number of events attended by youth to discuss important files such as developing cities and dealing with the climate change problems.
