Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbini asserted that Egypt’s hosting of the World Urban Forum (WUF) is a great opportunity to support the idea of exporting real estate.
The event will have several gains as there are various residential units and developmental, service and investment lands, Sherbini said in an interview on DMC satellite channel on Saturday.
The 12th WUF is due on November 4-8, he said, adding that there is fruitful cooperation between the ministries and bodies concerned in the state.
The Egyptian companies participating in the event have wide experience and include human cadres that are capable of implementing several projects outside Egypt whether at the African, Arab or global levels, he said.
The event includes a number of activities adopted by the Egyptian Housing Ministry including meetings with African housing ministers to transfer the Egyptian expertise to the African countries and further benefit from it, he said.
