Egypt condemned on Sunday the massacre that was committed by the Israeli forces in of Deir al Balah area in the Gaza Strip Saturday night and left dozens dead and injured.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Egypt denounces all massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied Palestinian territories, including the massacre of Tulkarem refugee camp in the occupied West Bank that has taken place a few days ago as well as massacres perpetrated by Israeli warplanes on the southern Beirut and other areas in Lebanon.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed full support to the UN relief agencies working in these tough circumstances, a top of which are the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). 

The Foreign Ministry hailed the key role of these agencies in reinforcing the humanitarian action and restoring clam, stability and security.
