CAIRO — Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania el Mashat said the national project for development “Decent Life” is the largest in the world in terms of the number of beneficiaries.
Some 18 million people are benefiting from the first phase of this presidential initiative that is meant to improve life and livelihoods in the Egyptian countryside, Mashat said.
She told a press conference that the cost of implementing the first phase, which targets 1,500 villages and includes 23,000 projects, exceeds EGP 350 billion.
