CAIRO – Egypt’s Grand Mufti Nazir Ayyad lauded the role of the Egyptian judiciary in entrenching the principles of justice and preserving citizens rights.
He made the remarks on Wednesday on the Egyptian Judiciary Day.
In a statement on Wednesday, he stressed that the Egyptian judiciary has remained a bulwark of justice and a guarantor of the stability of society, noting that Egyptian judges are icon for integrity and independence.
Ayyad underlined the importance of promoting the role of the Egyptian judiciary in protecting society and its institutions.
He accentuated that the strength and independence of the judiciary is a basic guarantee for proceeding with the process of development and prosperity in Egypt.
