NEW YORK – Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelaty said on Sunday Egypt is very proud of its sons who work at the United Nations, lauding the role they play in preserving international peace and security and achieving sustainable development.
Abdelaty made the remarks during his meeting with Egyptians who work at the UN headquarters in New York on the sidelines of his participation in the UN General Assembly meeting.He urged Egyptians working within the United Nations organisation to commit to upholding the professionalism that befits Egypt’s international name and status in line with the noble principles and goals that the UN system aims to implement and preserve.
