CAIRO – Egypt advances to the 28th position on the KidsRights Index 2024 which includes 194 states, according to the cabinet’s – Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
Egypt came on the second position among Arab countries included on the index.
The KidsRights Index is the only annual global ranking on how countries worldwide are adhering to children’s right. It focuses on five key areas; Right to Life, Right to Health, Right to Education, Right to Protection and Enabling Environment for Child Rights.
The KidsRights Index is published annually by the KidsRights Foundation since 2013, in close collaboration with Erasmus School of Economics and the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam. It is the first and only fully comparative worldwide annual index that systematically compares the child rights performance of (as of recent nearly all) countries that are bound by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
