Turkish Ambassador to Egypt Salih Mutlu Şen said that economic cooperation between Türkiye and Egypt will be at the forefront in the upcoming period, particularly due to the growing interest of Turkish investors in Egypt following the establishment of the new Egyptian government.
He also said that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is expected to visit Cairo for discussions with the new Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
These statements were made at an event hosted by the ambassador to commemorate the anniversary of “Democracy and National Unity Day – July 15th,” attended by diplomatic figures, journalists, and media professionals from both countries. The event included videos and a photo exhibition highlighting the thwarted coup attempt in Türkiye on July 15th.
He added that it is expected to organise many cooperation activities in the cultural and social fields in the coming period.
“There will be an increase in interest in joint sports activities next year.”
