Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli Tuesday chaired the first weekly meeting of the newly-appointed government at the headquarter of the government in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to discuss directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and carry out the government plan of action.
The meeting aims to discuss a number of political, economic and social files, along with the latest developments on the global arena.
During the meeting, the Cabinet tackled a number of topics related to carrying out the government plan of action throughout the coming three years, including the follow up of the implementation of initiatives to reduce commodity prices, market movement and the availability of food commodities and implementing decisions to control markets.
The meeting discussed efforts meant to achieve progress at all levels, realize economic and social stability, encourage investments, issue decisions to support investment, and follow up on the completion of work on various national projects in all governorates.
The meeting followed up on previous measures regarding the files of investment, industry, exportation, expanding the scale of the agricultural land, taxes, underway development of various sectors and securing needs of people.
