Egypt’s Transport Minister Kamel Wazir lauded co-operation with Jordan especially in the Arab Bridge Maritime company owned by Egypt, Jordan and Iraq.
The transport minister underlined fruitful cooperation between Egypt, Jordan and Iraq, highlighting the depth of the ties between the Egyptian and Jordanian political leaderships and governments.
He made the remarks during a meeting on Thursday with his Jordanian counterpart Wesam Al Tahtamouni.
The meeting focused on means of enhancing co-operation in various transportation domains.
The two sides tackled cargo and truck transportation rates via the Arab land and maritime lines, which play a key role in transferring goods of Gulf, Iraq and Jordan to European countries and the US passing through Egypt.
For her part, the Jordanian minister highlighted the importance of ongoing co-operation various transport sectors .
